My coaching style is authentic, intuitive and fully present.
I’m a recovering procrastinator who is an expert in over thinking. I’ve struggled with paralyzing overwhelm while desiring to use my talents to the fullest. I am easily excited about new endeavors but have struggled to finish projects, commit to one path and stay focused on the goal. I found growth through changing mindset, setting incremental action steps and breaking free from perfectionism. It’s all about starting somewhere. I can help you reframe your approach and make progress. Sometimes the goal needs to be… TO STAY FOCUSED ON THE GOAL!
What my clients are saying
“The most valuable thing I have learned from working with Anne is to take the time to slow down and check in with myself. I’ve used this to help me fully savor the moment before it becomes a memory as well as observing how certain subjects make me feel/think so I know what may be best for me. I would say Anne’s coaching style is engaging, attentive and inspiring!” ~AA, Minneapolis, MN
“Anne has a calming energy about her which makes her easy to open up to and speak with about anything. I appreciate how she looks at the big picture and helps reel in my thoughts and put them into perspective, and she does it in a very purposeful, thoughtful manner that helped me have my own light bulb moment. I was able to apply the few sessions we had to everyday life and it truly helped.” ~AR, Milwaukee, WI
Professional Background & Education
I am a national board certified health & wellbeing coach (NBC-HWC), certified Positive Psychology Coach with a certificate in Wholebeing Positive Psychology (CIWPP) from the Wholebeing Institute in Pennsylvania and a Duke Certified Health & Wellbeing Coach. I teach Yoga and Ayurveda as a 500hr Certified Yoga Teacher and Ayurveda Yoga Specialist; Yoga and Ayurveda both inform my coaching and how I approach Health & Wellbeing. I hold a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Strategy from the University of Minnesota and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Management from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.
I worked for Anderson Consulting and Target Corporation early in my career before leaving business to pursue my family. I have served on several non-profit boards in my local community and have led such efforts as writing diversity, equity and inclusion statements, organizing service projects and events, and leading strategic communication efforts. My most important role is a mom to two teenage daughters. An avid lover of the outdoors and self-described deep thinker, I am passionate about my own personal growth and love to discuss/study matters of the spirit. My constant motivation to continue peeling back the layers of myself to get to the good stuff is my reason for becoming a coach.
